Just reading the news today. Came across something pretty interesting. Some press-stopping news about a cat being let out of a bag. Huh. Do you think their source is reliable?
You're signing tomorrow... I've read your story from the beginning and I am so excited for you. It's not just about the clip, and the potential Kyle (and Dom), it's about the kind of hope that you give people who have nothing, and by example show them that they can turn that into Anything! The fact that your partner Dom, has backed your antics and had faith with you from the start, also gives a whole other kind of spin to the aforementioned concept of "hope". Anything is Possible.... and "Thank You."
OMG! Good for You! I found this site on the Yahoo! Home Page, and I would like to say that I am impressed that you completed such a big goal. Also, I hope you enjoy your new house!
I've been working with and teaching Law of Attraction for several years... This is a wonderful demonstration that what you focus on you create. And, Kyle, you have such a natural presence each step of the way... Your creativity shines brightly boy... Very cool... Peter
U got a freakin house out of one red paperclip! Brilliant idea dude. Now you can retire to your new Australian home, kick bak and have a beer or two ;)
very impresive, just 3 days ago i was remembering the story and wondering how it ended, my name is luis suarez, from monterrey mexico. ill trade you a guided tour trough monterrey, for anything bigger or better!!!! luissuarez@axtel.net. www.tupatrimonio.com
Hey Kyle and Dom...I'm not much of one to participate in reality TV, youtube.com or weblogs...though in getting aquainted with you, I'm sure neither of you are either. I DO want to say spending some time finding out about your incredible quest, and the culmination, being bequeathed "Mayor for a Day" says much about to me about what getting involved in life can do for you. Thanks for sharing your story, and if you ever visit the pacific northwest again, post it, and I'll come to shake your hand...
Great marketing, I would like to make you an offer. If you can get me a bar/resturant by starting with a golfer nutcracker I will split the profits with you for life.
I am from Kipling and was at the Ceremony. Even had a chance to talk to him and his parents. Great people and will be welcomed in the community. Also his GF is HOT!!!
Hi, I gave my friend a purple paper clip, he traded it for a pencil than a large paper clip with an elastic. Do you think he has a chance for a new house?
very nice amigo, power of convincement wins this time if you believe in you, the rest of the world will. A nice lection to all those who are sitting in their homes weiting for something to happen, well i've got big news for the.... It Won't!
I cannot explain how much I loved hearing about your story tonight. I have to work in six hours, but I've been reading your site for the past two hours and can't stop. It's absolutely a wonderful story! Thank you! Do you think Corbin Bernsen would accept an Anne of Green Gables Snow Globe from Prince Edward Island?
Gee, what about those who don't have a paperclip? My graduate degree in psychology is less useful and worth less than a paperclip... I'm just hoping to work up to a paperclip!
Good for you. You followed Barnams law to the letter. We know there are ignorant people in this world that need taken advantage of. But the city unloaded property on you you can pay taxes on now.
ROTFLMAO congrats!!! heh, my dad came and told me about this and i told him there was no way in hell it turned out like he said it did, but it did!!! congrats.. clever move on the snowglobe.. i knew u had to have somthing up your sleeve!!!! bye bye
Not having a TV or getting a newspaper,I knew nothing about this endeavor until today, two days after the fact.I just read through your whole project and think it's the most ingenious thing I've ever heard of.I liked your sense of humor and your ability to turn what some would think a disastrous trade into a remarkable trade. And all from one red paperclip!Amazing!
I've been folowing this story since the fish pen, and I'd just like to say congratulations. you really deserve this house. Definatley the most original idea i've ever heard. good luck in your new home.
hello guy, congrats!, u got it!, im in tokyo(coz my other half is jp), and i want to try to have...not a house, but something like that;), ur my hero!, take care! http://www.myspace.com/tonycantu11
Just saw your name on the front page of our local newspaper and googled your story. Amazing. I am looking forward to reading more about your adventures...
Definitely I agree with anon. who said, that you are "a man amungst the boys". But we knew that for quite a while. I, along with others, doubted when you traded for the Alice Cooper afternoon thing. But basically I was sure you were having fun and that whatever happened, you would be cool with that. And that is the secret to your success, along with the fact that you are a warm, loving, open-hearted person with great faith, who has done a lot already for the whole world and who definitely has a great future ahead.
wow i am inspired your paperclip is probably worth more than your house now... If u can i would continue your journey if you find any other deals worth it
I just got back from two weeks in Alaska and saw your great news on tv there. I'm probably your mom's age, but always enjoy watching a real entrepreneur work and have been following since last year. Made my husband nuts by giving him constant updates.
I didn't think the snow globe was a good move, but obviously you have better instincts about this stuff than I do.
I can't beleive you made it THIS FAR!!! I'm from AUSTRALIA and they were showing YOU on the NEWS ALL THE WAY IN AUS!!! I was watching the report and they said go to his site. I am so happy for you. I just ate a icecream so maybe I can sell the paddle pop stick and get a house...well in 1 year I'll only be 13. Hehehehe lol. I can't beleive this happened
Fantastic to hear that you ended up with a house, but I was just wondering whatever happened to that house from the movie "The Castle" that you wanted to eventually end up with?
Are you going to keep going till you get it, or has it already been sold and the new owners don't want to trade? Maybe it could be kind of a 'Sea Change' deal, where they move to Canada, and you get the house?
Anyway, I was just wondering that, after seeing the segment on "60 Minutes" here in Aus, and comparing the story to the one on "Beyond Tomorrow" which had the bit about the house in "The Castle".
Wow, now if you can only certify oneredpaperclip as being a really awesome project, you can put a lid on this puppy. visit us at AwesomeMillion.com to make it offically a really awesome thing on the net. Cheers and hats off to you. It's up for grabs...OneRedPaperClip.IsReallyAwesome.com with numbers remaining. LOL take care and you'll need mittens for that new house!
WOW! Amazing story! Found the story in a danish Donald Duck magazine, and didn't believe it! But WOW! Would you have anything against i use the same idea?
jrhnrYour first goal has been accomplished. Rick Hansen wheeled around the world in his wheel chair. Accomplished his goal and began to realize, after his tour, that it was the beginning not the end. Not only have you accomplished your goal, but you have inspired a gobal community. There is a next for you. What will it be?
Congratulations on achieving this... original goal. Just so you know, in my town, Duluth, Georgia, some economics teachers are using the whole "red paperclip trade" idea as a project at my school. I am not in that class, but found out about it and have started my own "paperclip mission". Wish me luck.
ur my freakin hero my friends have started our own trading competition to see who can get the best thing in one month, and like you we started with only one red paperclip
WOW! I heard about this last year on 60 minutes and just stumbled upon oneredpaperclip.com by accident tonight. Congratulations! There is snow globe on it's way from Australia!

congrats! loads of them!
but...
there's a downside to your endeavour: the price of paperclips has trippled!
Hi, I gave my friend a purple paper clip, he traded it for a pencil than a large paper clip with an elastic. Do you think he has a chance for a new house?
With the Canadian exchange rate you probably could have sold the red paper clip off the bat, and paid for it with the money you made from it.
I really enjoyed this story. So many great people out there!
Good luck to you, Katja
Enhorabuena, amigo!!!!
Lo has conseguido
Cool. Congratulations!! You DID it!!! (I KNEW you could!)

Way to Go Kyle!
When our Professor posted this link on the weekly on-line discussion board for our E-biz class, I just had to read this to see if it was true.
I am utterly amazed! What a phenomenal story you have here.
It did leave me wondering though;
Did you keep the house?
You may have posted that some where here, but I did not see it.
I also am posting a link back to my blogger as well to help in spreading this fantastic success story!
